We now have Xplorer Trails permanently in place at Witton Park and Whitehall Park from Friday 18th October!

There are 15 plaques on each park to find. The plaques are themed, and will change along with the park map every now and again to keep the Xplorer Challenge fresh!

From this page, you can access your own Family Xplorer Pack, including copies of the Xplorer map, challenge list and certificate, along with a pencil, stickers, and some of our leaflets for more opportunities across Blackburn and Darwen!

Each of the 15 Halloween plaques have a letter on them. You can record the letter on your answer sheet or just write down the name of your find. (e.g. Spider, Zombie, Coffin etc)

The Xplorer Trail challenges can be done at any time – including weekends! The trail routes are buggy friendly but some of the plaques may be located away from the surfaced paths. The Witton Park and Whitehall trails each take approximately 45 minutes to complete.

Once you’ve received your Xplorer pack, locate the start point (indicated) and find the numbered plaques 1-15 which will have a particular theme, and may involve extra challenges.
