Taking place across various local green spaces, parks, and community centres, there’s something for everyone to enjoy, no matter the weather! 
Highlighting our local green and blue spaces, we deliver Active Seasons across a range of areas in Blackburn and Darwen, for example, Witton Park, Whitehall Park, Corporation Park, Queens Park, and Ivy St Community Centre.
Throughout the year, we aim to encourage families to be more active. From scavenger hunts and orienteering, to skateboarding and crafts or play-based fun, there’s plenty for you to get stuck into. Please note that all sessions are FREE, but some selected sessions will require booking for attendance.
For safety reasons, please make sure that children who are taking part in sessions are wearing appropriate clothing and shoes for physical activity.
Xplorer Trails are available throughout the year in 4 parks across Blackburn and Darwen! Xplorer Trails are available for everyone to complete at any time!
