We want this Summer to be an active one, so we’re teaming up with some of our partners to deliver some special one-off FREE sessions to keep you and your little ones active throughout the school holidays!

Starting Monday 5th August

Every Monday to Thursday throughout August, there will be a range of activity sessions taking place across Blackburn and Darwen, including Witton Park, Whitehall Park and Corporation Park. All sessions listed in the timetable below are FREE for all the family, delivered by re:fresh and local partners.

As well as the regular weekly sessions, there will also be special one-off sessions, including an old school sports day, pond dipping, mini farm and a nature trail. Please note that the Pond Dipping, Sports Day and Mini-Farm events will require booking. Booking link can be found below and in the session timetable.

You are welcome to bring your own packed lunch when you visit the park for Active Summer! If you need support with a picnic, please contact Leanne from The Billy Project on 07939832216 who will be able to assist you.
