Blackburn with Darwen’s RE:FRESH team are working in partnership with a variety of local providers to offer a range of 12 week programmes that can help you successfully meet your short and long term goals.

Blackburn Rovers Community Trust
The 12-week programme begins with a ‘week zero’ session which includes an initial health check and a discussion about what to expect from the course. The 12 weeks are split between classroom health and education workshops and physical activity sessions. With support from our staff and from other group members you will get tips to:
- Improve your eating habits
- Cut down on alcohol
- Increase your activity levels – one step at a time!
- Reduced your weight and waistline
- Support each other to stay on track
BwD Healthy Living - Aspire
This 12 week programme starts with induction morning to help you get to know the delivery team, set goals and discuss your plan. Particpants will then take part in group sessions which include:
- Group exercise
- Nutritional education
- Behaviour change support
Be Strong Eat. Move. Live CIC
Perfect for those who prefer accountability , peer support & networking with people with similar aims. Rick & Rachel provide support via face to face group sessions. Weekly discussion topics provide focus for the week ahead and support goal setting. This is followed by a weekly inclusive group exercise session. There is also access to a wealth of online support. Including unique personalised nutrition plans, a gameplan to follow, online exercise sessions, recipes, meal trackers and a weight tracker. There is also access to the lifestyle academy, group discussion forums, members only facebook group and workout of the week. Participants can also access a weekly themed walk.
For those not comfortable in attending face to face groups, Be Strong also offer a 12 week digital only programme. This option really gives you the flexibility of improving your lifestyle at a time and place convenient for you.
This 12 week programme offer can be a combination of 121 support, group sessions and exercise. The RE:FRESH team can help you improve your eating habits and increase your activity levels through a variety of support:
