As part of our service, we often work with children’s centres, community centres and other organisations to set up and run sessions aimed at children aged 4 and under. These sessions are aimed at learning through play and teach the fundamentals of movement, balance and coordination, all through a fun and interactive session. If working with young children and teaching these developmental techniques is of interest to you, then please get in touch by applying for this role.
Key Tasks
- To support the session leader to deliver the session
- Help to prepare the room and/or set up any equipment needed
- Take a register at the beginning of the session
- Individually support children during the session if required
- Offer encouragement to the group throughout
- To help the session leader as required
- Log volunteering hours via an on-line computer system

Training
- An Enhanced DBS is required for all roles with re:fresh
- Volunteer Learning Passport access (e-learning)
- Emergency First Aid Course
